New AI tool turns WhatsApp group chats into shareable video memories

Saatchi & Saatchi London and Deutsche Telekom have launched .mem, an AI add-on for WhatsApp that transforms group chat highlights—texts, photos, videos, and reactions—into sharable video stories. Designed to capture collective experiences, .mem uses AI to craft narratives, making shared moments more vivid and engaging.

Users simply add .mem to their group, share content as usual, and request a video summary, ready in 20 minutes. The tool debuts in several European countries as part of Deutsche Telekom’s “Summer to Remember” campaign, which celebrates shared memories and connections.
